SpecTex 2025 Recap
It was fantastic to connect with our valued supplier network and catch up with many old friends at the SpecTex 2025 conference in Melbourne last week. These industry gatherings are always a great opportunity to strengthen relationships and share insights.
A huge congratulations to all the award winners, especially the Apprentices of the Year! While our own talented guys didn't take home a prize this time, we are extremely proud of their efforts in entering and showcasing their high-quality products. Their dedication is truly commendable.

We also want to extend a very special congratulations to Bob Cahill and David Thorburn on receiving Life Membership of the association. Having known both these stalwarts for a long time, we can say these accolades are incredibly well-deserved for their enormous contributions to our industry.
A big thank you also goes to our new Councillor, Jake Kemp from LJ Covers, for stepping up to represent us on the Council. There's no one more passionate about our industry than Jake, and we're sure he'll be a valued addition to the Council.
We're already looking forward to next year's Super Expo on the Gold Coast! It's set to be another fantastic event.
